A B O U T U S
Most of us came to this world through fireworks like an iron generation in 1972. We have started our school journey together in 1978 at Dhamso College. Some of our brothers and sisters joined us throughout the course and left us before crossing the finishing line. But all of them are our brother and sisters. We are stronger together.
All students that have studied in Dharmasoka college during 1978-1991, who sat or supposed to have sat O/L in 1988 or sat or supposed to have sat A/L in 1991 can join our association.
Our mission is to create a forum for the membership to come together in solidarity; to strengthen and promote friendship and goodwill; raised funds for agreed charitable causes; support members in need and endeavour for better member's welfare; help our teachers and the School as required.
If you satisfy the membership criteria and are happy with our mission, please join us and travel this journey together since we are stronger together.
O U R T E A M
Let's recollect the memories of the last 40 years. We fought, laughed, studied together, snuck out of school, scribbled on desks, stole food from the canteen, lend a pencil or eraser to a friend, shared our lunch packets and most importantly we enjoyed whatever we did. Every day was an adventurous day for us and we took care of each other.
Let's rebuild our team spirit like the old days. Let's meet up whenever we get a chance. Let's ask "Are you OK?". Crack a joke and help in need. No matter who we have become today, we are still the same people who covered each other's back. Join us, hold hands and continue our journey together for a better future and a better world for the next generation.

We have a social mission. Though we were fortunate enough to get our education from one of the best schools in Sri Lanka, there are many children on the island who cannot even source essentials. Let's get together to help those in need.
It is our duty to check if schools need our support. We should check if our teachers need any assistance and we cannot forget our brothers and sisters who need a hand.
We are stronger together so get involved in our social mission. Everyone has a part to play. Our collective effort will make the world a better place. Please participate in our projects as per your capability.

Messages from our well-wishers
Our teachers always wanted us to be the best and climb to the top of the ladder. They made us ready the best they can equip with the best knowledge and experience they had before we started climbing the ladder. Whatever we have achieved today, was possible because of the strong base we built from our school. Salute our teachers and wish them long life...
A few of our teachers wished us all the best as follows;
I would be very much pleased to send this message as a former Principal on the eve of the launch of your website dhamso91.com. First of all, I would like to congratulate you for the formation of an association with the past students of Dharmasoka College, between 1978 – 1991. In the present world of technology, we have to depend on technical avenues, when we attempt to organize an association with a vast crowd spread around the world. I learnt that this group is almost 30 years old after they left to find their fortunes in the open world. I am happy to see, some of them have reached the world-class in their selected fields. I appreciate the attempt you have made to have your own web-site to explore and gather your sisters and brothers in one unit to keep your brotherhood intact. It is a good gesture to call your colleagues to illustrate the web with various articles and many creations. I am really happy to have lived today to send this sort of a message after 22 years of my retirement. All good wishes to Dhamso 91 in their all future endeavours.
It is a pleasure to say a few words on this memorable occasion of launching the ’91 group website. Dharmasoka College, the years of our school from 1978 to 1991 was special. You were students and I was your teacher and deputy principal during that period, We all agree that school days are the best part of anybody's life. During school days, we build up our character, develop skills, make friends who remain friends forever. Whether we like it or not, that ends after thirteen years. You say goodbye to each other and set out to the outside world. You scatter and find your own path. Even though you wish to see each other frequently the distance makes it difficult. Some have changed beyond recognition. Technology has developed to bridge that gap and bring you closer to each other to a certain extent. Dhamso ’91 group has picked up that opportunity to bring you together. So let me congratulate you all and wish you all the success in your effort in bringing school friends closer to each other after a long pause of 30 years.
